Soaps It Up 2019

Soaps It Up is CARSTAR’s North American car wash, and has been a main contributor to the nearly $4 million raised for cystic fibrosis research, care and advocacy over the last 20+ years.

The first Soaps It Up fundraiser took place after the granddaughter of a franchise partner was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. From there, the relationship with CARSTAR and cystic fibrosis grew. CARSTAR locations across the U.S. took it to the next level and set the Guinness World Record in 2009 by washing more than 4,000 vehicles in eight hours, then broke its record in 2011 by washing more than 4,900 in eight hours. Today, Soaps It Up remains the primary fundraising event of the year for CARSTAR locations across North America. Funds raised at each U.S. CARSTAR location go directly to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, along with any local charities helping to host the event.

This iconic event occurs every June, Shine Month. Funds raised at each CARSTAR location go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, along with any local charities supporting the event.
