Barrhaven Local Surprised with Free Repair in Advance of Grand Opening

Jeffrey Campbell volunteers his space to store snow dozers in the summer for an organization that grooms trails. However, when one dozer was pulling in, it happened to hit the tailgate of his vehicle.

CARSTAR Barrhaven, a brand new and state-of-the-art collision repair facility, decided to surprise Jeffrey by paying for the repair needed to his truck.

“We have seen Jeffrey before and he is an incredibly kind customer, so we wanted to pay it forward and help him with this repair because he was paying out of pocket,” says Shawn Jamieson, vice president of operations, CARSTAR Myers Collision Centres. “He was grateful to be the recipient of a free repair and even brought in coffee for the team as a thank you – making us even happier we chose him to.”

One of the founding pillars of CARSTAR has always been to give back to the communities the organization works and lives in. With independently owned and operated collision repair facilities spanning across North America, CARSTAR franchise partners have helped many people beyond their collision repair needs.

“From raising funds and awareness for cystic fibrosis organizations to refurbishing cars and donating to those in need, our CARSTAR family is eager to help their community,” says Dean Fisher, president, CARSTAR. “It is moving to see the network come together, from Nova Scotia to California, for the mutual cause of spreading some good in their communities and thanking our customers.”

CARSTAR Barrhaven also recently celebrated its grand opening, welcoming valued partners onsite to celebrate, received a certificate of achievement from their local city councillor and donated $1,000 to Cystic Fibrosis Canada.

“CARSTAR Barrhaven is a fantastic representation of our values, as they celebrate their grand opening by gifting others,” continues Dean Fisher. “We are grateful to have this team in the larger CARSTAR family and look forward to their continued success.”
