CARSTAR Onoway (Jack’s Auto Body) Joins the Polynesian Days Parade
CARSTAR Onoway (Jack’s Auto Body) took part in the 48th annual Polynesian Days event, running through the August long weekend! For 48 years, Polynesian Days has become a time-honoured tradition in Alberta Beach.
This year the CARSTAR Onoway (Jack’s Auto Body) team had the honour of driving Parade Marshall, Karen Cotton, in the lead vehicle, a 1928 Ford Model A, owned by CARSTAR Onoway (Jack’s Auto Body) owner Dave Cooper. Not only was it a fun-filled family event, but Cooper was leading the pack!
The Onoway team also decorated one of their tow trucks and drove with the parade followed by CARTAR Onoway owner Jack Cooper’s father, Dave, who dressed up for the event. Joined by his great nephews, Trent and Myles, the family handed out popsicles to the spectators. The team took third place and earned the commercial ribbon for their decorated company vehicle.
CARSTAR Onoway (Jack’s Auto Body) has been actively engaged in events and causes close to the Onoway community for 50 years. From participating in the Onoway SnoMo Days Festival in February to supporting the Ride for Mom event this past May.
Jack and his family enjoyed this year’s Poly Days event and looks forward to continuing their support for the 49th anniversary next year!
