Impactful Fall EDGE Performance Group Meetings
Impactful Fall EDGE Performance Group Meetings
CARSTAR, North America’s largest premier network of independently owned collision repair facilities, celebrates a successful round of EDGE Performance Group meetings this fall.
These biannual coast-to-coast meetings bring together each CARSTAR location within its respected zone to engage in financial focus groups and do a deep dive into best practices alongside key industry partners and corporate leaders. In addition to the meetings, CARSTAR sold holiday sweaters with proceeds from each sale going to its charitable cause, fighting cystic fibrosis.
Eastern Zone
Hosted in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, this EDGE Performance Group meeting was lead by Zone Director Dave Meery, alongside Area Manager of Operations, Clint Bohnet. With record attendance, the east zone engaged in financial and profitability discussions on the first day with the second day focused on operations with guest speakers from a valued insurance partner.
Quebec Zone
In Lac-Beauport, Quebec, the entire group of Quebec franchise partners united to hear from both vendor and insurance partners on industry advancements. Following those updates, leaders from the CARSTAR operations team spoke to the group about operational and financial best practices.
Central Zone
Held in Hamilton, CARSTAR Hamilton Gage opened up their facility for a store tour where attendees were able to learn about how it has implemented 5S initiatives and hear from valued vendor partners. Breakout sessions focused on operations and financial discussions with the following day highlighting corporate updates, industry trends and strategies to improve length of rental.
Western Zone
Edmonton, Alberta hosted the western zone meeting, which proved to be incredibly successful with high attendance. A highlight moment for this team was a franchise partner panel discussion on the second day, to share best practices around estimating, profitability and operations.
“The CARSTAR EPG program continues to accelerate CARSTAR’s strong performance and helps us deliver the collision repair industry’s highest-quality vehicle repairs,” said Dean Fisher, president of CARSTAR. “This is just another tool we use to achieve industry leading levels of operational excellence as well as new levels of customer satisfaction. In true CARSTAR fashion, we were also elated to see how eager our franchise family was to contribute to our charitable cause, through our holiday sweater fundraiser.”
With productive meetings held across Canada, CARSTAR extends its sincerest thanks to Axalta, Akzo-Nobel and BASF for their continued support and engagement at its EDGE Performance Group meetings.
