CARSTAR Ottawa South Centre (Myers) Earns GM Certification

CARSTAR, North America’s largest multi-store network of independently owned collision repair facilities, celebrates CARSTAR Ottawa South Centre (Myers)  earning its original equipment manufacturer (OEM) certification from GM Canada.

The team at CARSTAR Ottawa South Centre (Myers) is expertly trained in GM’s latest repair methods and understands how to use original GM parts. Now, as a GM Canada Collision Repair Network Member, GM owners in Ottawa can trust their vehicle to their local CARSTAR facility.

“Undergoing the proper training and adhering to all manufacturer guidelines are crucial for all collision repairs, and our team has always been committed to this,” says Shawn Jamieson, vice president of CARSTAR collision centres, Myers Automotive Group. “To be officially certified by GM Canada validates our abilities to ensure a swift and expert restoration of a GM vehicle to its original factory safety specifications.”

Unlike other certified networks, the GM Collision Repair Network is a comprehensive program that uses ongoing evaluation of the necessary training, equipment and repair procedures used to repair today’s increasingly complex GM vehicles.

“The Myers Automotive Group has 13 dealerships and five CARSTAR repair centres in the greater Ottawa region, all with a focus on delivering premier customer experiences,” continues Jamieson. “We are able to provide the highest level of repairs because of our extensive training and this commitment to collision repair excellence is engrained in our operations.”

CARSTAR Ottawa South Centre (Myers) is working towards its I-CAR Gold certification, a designation for collision repair facilities that have trained their technicians with the knowledge and skills to complete premier repairs. The facility is also certified in other OEM brands including FCA, Nissan, and Kia.

Please join us in congratulating CARSTAR Ottawa South Centre (Myers) on its newest certification.
